One of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do is to write this letter to you, my Biker Ally Family. I guess the best thing to do is to just come out and say it…Biker Ally Magazine has ceased its operation. The reason is pretty simple…it’s just not financially possible to continue. The magazine has finally met its match with the economic times we are all facing. Magazines just cannot function without advertising, as subscriptions just don’t pay to cover the costs and I just cannot get the advertising that is needed. I thought that the Harley-Davidson ad would have inspired the other manufacturers, but that wasn’t the case. Recently, Harley-Davidson decided to pull their ad (and much needed revenue). Additionally, the subscription numbers have been decreased by almost 75 percent.
Taking all of this into consideration, I had to make this decision to cease operations. I have poured my life into this publication as well as my own personal savings. I have not received one cent for my efforts and have only produced the magazine out of love. To say that I feel like I have lost a limb is putting it mildly as this magazine was so much a part of my life.
I have met a lot of wonderful people over the years and value all of the relationships that have developed through Biker Ally. I hope you understand why I’ve had to discontinue. I truly appreciate the support that you have given Biker Ally and thank you for that. So with my heart on my sleeve I have to say goodbye…it was a great run.

I had been a subscriber to this wonderful magazine for over 5 years. Rain was a source of encouragement to start riding my own bike. I first met her in Rolla, MO in 2004. I will miss the magazine and all the great articles.
Thank you Rain! and take care of yourself and most of all Ride Safe!

I was wondering what happened - just after I started my subscription, too! Being a former newspaper and magazine editor, I know advertising is essential to making the editorial possible. Biker Ally was a very high quality magazine, and will be sorely missed by us lady biker sisters! Thank you Rain for the selfless work you did. We will miss you and the rest of the Biker Ally staff. Take care and God Bless You!

Rain,
Thank you for a top-notch magazine dedicated to women riders. I know it was not an easy decision to cease publishing, nor was it easy to post your good-bye. It's not good-bye but see you a little further down the road. Wishing you only fair weather and smooth roads under your wheels. Much love to you & the Biker Ally staff.

Do you know where I can find Bumper Smith, I know he has done articles in your magazine and had articles written about him.
I am from the UK and he was recently over here and won the tough man competition, he is such a nice man and doesn't come over as tough. Thank you Lin.
