Wow! Thank you so much for your thoughtful and smart comments from episode’s one and two. The MotoFemina director is closely reading each and every response. Believe it or not, you are already making a difference!

The next four episodes will go further into the story – just what each of you is waiting for. And to be a little more clear on this end, this reality video is not the typical reality show we are all familiar with; it is more of an evolution of the reality show – involving a real storyline with (hopefully) more meat. But that’s what you will decide. Have fun watching and reviewing!

Helmet Hair Focus Group for reality video series MotoFemina – we need you!!

You might remember hearing about a reality video that follows three women who learn how to ride a motorcycle, one of which will be awarded a BMW F 650 GS at the end of her journey.  Upon receiving this press release we were highly skeptical of the authenticity of this project and so pooh-poohed the idea. Now, after sampling some episodes, we think its worthy of HH readers to check out.

MotoFemina has 14 episodes taped and has asked Helmet Hair Readers to give it their review – why, who better to dissect a topic about women riders than the gals who actually live and breathe it. A true no-brainer.

Time for your voice to be heard:  Helmet Hair reader’s feedback will play an intregal part in shaping potential future series!

Here’s how to participate: Each week on our “Under Our Helmet” blog we will review two episodes, starting this week with episode one and two. Make sure and post your comments on this blog so they will know this info is legitimate.  After all 14 are reviewed, we’ll hand it over to the MotoFemina Director, Rick de Saussure.

Helmet Hair gets published!

You might remember Helmet Hair Magazine.com’s TOP TEN “Women Bike Builders” in the October 2006 issue. We received so many

reader emails that we knew we had (in a sense) created a little bit of history with the first-ever list of its kind. Well that list seems to

have sprouted wings and taken flight to land this month on the pages of a very manly moto magazine, Thunder Roads (Michigan).

After the word got out,  now their sister publication in Colorado will run it in their March 07 issue. 

We’re just pleased as punch that this is a topic more male-dominated magazines are discovering - and maybe one day - embracing.

But if not, you’ll always have Helmet Hair™.
